Forensic Intelligence deals with the acquisition, analysis and protection of information and evidence that is the result of a criminal act, and the identification of potential crime risks.

Within Forensic Intelligence are the functions of Counter-Terrorism, Espionage and Criminal Risk Management, which involves the acquisition and analysis of intelligence data in order to provide recommendations on reducing terrorist, espionage and criminal threat levels.

Only 72% of registered software users take advantage of free patches and upgrades to correct security vulnerabilities. Computer Crackers attempt to infiltrate North American military computer systems an average of 180,000 times per year.
