As of 2011 I have officially left (retired from) the practice of forensics, ending a close to three decades career. However, I will still be available for lectures and workshops, and will continue to write and do network television segments on forensic issues. 2012 will also see a new (social/political) initiative from me, called “Security through Prosperity,” which will focus on awareness and practical change aimed at reducing child poverty, the working poor and denim collar crime (crimes resulting from impoverished personal circumstances) in Canada, the United States and United Kingdom.
"Words from Beyond the Fringe" is a free download from my website (here) and is a collection of about one hundred quotes from my media and lecture activities, and of course my books and articles. If you are tired of quoting the same old dead guys for your presentataions; download my e-book and see if anything I have said motivates, upsets or enlightens you.

This is a book that introduces the reader to the world of Dr. Robert Ing, a real-life forensic intelligence specialist. Dr. Robert Ing is an internationally acclaimed forensic intelligence specialist who has traveled the world on behalf of the interests of governments and major corporations. Dubbed as a modern day Sherlock Holmes he uses a hybrid of the 19th century art of detection and 21st century science of detection to uncover the deadliest of crimes. In this book, he presents 8 of his cases from around the world, and explains in lay terms, the real technology used to commit the crime and to investigate it. Join the good Doctor in his adventures, as he travels the world to track down spies, terrorists, human traffickers and computer crackers. ISBN: 978-1895-37724-8.
Based on the case files of Dr. Robert Ing, Chatter beyond the Fringe takes you into a world of terrorists, slave traders, spies, gunrunners, drug traffickers, and computer hackers. This is the secret world of technology that is used by contemporary terrorists and spies, and seldom seen on the evening news.
In our high-tech world of Internet-savvy criminals, forensic intelligence professionals like Dr. Ing are the first line of defense. As he travels around the globe to track down offenders and felons, Dr. Ing walks you through each case, explaining highly technical concepts in a way that any layperson can understand. He strips away the bells and whistles and tells it like it is.
Chatter beyond the Fringe reads like a diary that is filled with dashes of conspiracy theories, technology, forensics, and action. By reading these accounts, you'll become more aware of how technology, in the wrong hands, could impact your very life. ISBN: 978-0595-69819-6.
This book features photographs and descriptions of selected exhibit pieces from The East York Museum of Curiosities.
The East York Museum of Curiosities is a traveling mobile museum exhibit that provides the public a once in a lifetime opportunity to personally experience the theatrics and artifacts that astounded attendees of Cabinets of Curiosities from the 15th to 18th centuries and were truly the precursors to the modern day museum. However, unlike modern day museums, in keeping with the early tradition of curiosities on display, the attendees view a collection of real, rare and original fictional artifacts, never seen before in this century and perhaps may never to be seen again.
This book was created to offer those who have not seen the curiosities exhibit an opportunity to do so through the selection offered by photograph and description therein. As well this book is intended to create a permanent record of selected items in the collection, with the proceeds of the sale of this limited edition publication to go towards maintaining the travelling exhibits. Within the pages of this book you will see and read about such curiosities as a 15th century hand of glory, a 17th century vampire protection kit, a 20th century electric seance board, 4th century crucifixion nails and 10th century mummified monkey's paw and many more artifacts from a typical 15th to 18th century cabinet of curiosities. ISBN: 978-1895-37723-1.
